So your table just arrived... Now what?

The crate is at your door. You’re probably dying to get the tools out and see your new table, but hang on a sec! Before you let that truck driver speed off, there are a couple of things you have to do to make sure you’re covered if things went south during shipping.

1. Don't let the driver rush you

Truck drivers are always in a hurry—it’s their job. But it’s your job to check your investment.

  • The Crate: If the wooden crate has some scratches or dust, that’s just life on a cargo ship. No big deal.

  • The "Oh No" Factor: If you see a massive hole in the wood or it looks like something heavy crushed it, don't sign yet. Make the driver wait while you crack it open to see if the table itself took the hit.

2. When to just say "Take it back"

If you open that crate and the table is cracked, broken, or ruined—just refuse it. Tell the driver: "It's damaged, I’m not signing for this." Once you sign that paper, you’re basically saying the table is perfect. It is much easier for us to deal with the shipping company while the table is still on their truck. If it's broken, let them take it back; we’ll handle the rest.

3. The "Hidden" Stuff

Once you get it inside and start setting it up, you might find some small stuff. Remember, this is real wood and resin, not plastic from a big-box store.

  • Little quirks: Sometimes the change in weather (like moving from a humid container to your dry living room) causes a tiny hairline crack or a bit of "movement" in the wood.

  • The small stuff: Maybe there’s a tiny scratch or a bit of leftover buffing wax we missed.

4. If there's a problem, show us.

If something looks wrong, don't panic. We aren't going to disappear. Just grab your phone and:

  1. Take a wide photo of the whole table.

  2. Take a close-up (or a quick video) of the issue.

  3. Send it over to us immediately.

The clearer the photo, the faster we can figure out a fix. Whether it’s sending you a quick touch-up kit, a partial refund for a local polish, or sorting out a replacement for the big stuff—we’ll make it right. We want you to be stoked about this table, and we’ll work with you until you are.
