Every tree, just like every person, has its own character.
Even when two slabs are cut from the same log, no two boards will ever be identical. Variations in species, origin, age, grain, color brightness, knots, mineral streaks, and natural marks all reflect the tree’s unique life story.

These characteristics are not defects—they are the essence of natural wood.
This is why every SEAWAVETABLE slab is truly one of a kind in the world.
We respect the individuality of each tree and craft our slabs in a way that preserves their natural beauty.

02. Natural Cracks & Warping from Wood Movement

CRACKS / WARPING CAUSED BY TREE SHRINKAGE

Wood contains moisture, and its moisture content changes as it “breathes.”
Shrinkage, micro-cracks, and slight warping are natural reactions to environmental humidity and temperature changes.

Our slabs undergo air-drying and high-frequency kiln drying to a controlled 12% moisture content.
While we take every measure to stabilize the wood, your local environment may still cause:

• Small natural cracks

• Minor checking around knots

• Slight warping

• Subtle misalignment in repaired or filled areas

These natural changes are normal characteristics of solid wood and not considered quality issues.

To reduce such changes, please maintain indoor humidity between 35%–65% and avoid extreme temperature differences.

03. Inspection and Signing for Goods

INSPECTION & RECEIVING GUIDELINES

Before signing for delivery, please inspect your shipment on the spot.
If any of the following conditions occur, take photos immediately and contact your SEAWAVETABLE customer manager:

1. Packaging is damaged or severely deformed

2. Carton appears altered, torn, or re-sealed

3. Signs of secondary opening

4. Missing items or incorrect quantity

⚠️ If the package is signed for without inspection, it is considered accepted and free of logistics damage.
Any damage reported after signing cannot be claimed as shipping damage.

04. About Measurement Tolerance

REGARDING SIZE ERRORS

Due to the nature of handcrafted solid wood slabs, a tolerance of 0.5–1 cm is normal.
All measurements are taken from the widest or longest points of the slab.

Size data displayed on drawings or photos are for reference only—
final dimensions are based on the actual product.

05. About Color Differences

ABOUT COLOR DIFFERENCE

All product images are taken from actual pieces. However, variations may occur due to:

• Lighting conditions

• Photography techniques

• Display settings on mobile/computer screens

Although we strive to present colors as accurately as possible, minor differences between images and the actual product are normal.
Please refer to the physical product for the most accurate representation.

06. About Custom Resin Colors & Natural Materials

Natural wood, resin flow, air bubbles, stone patterns, and gradient effects may have slight variations. When selecting “AS SHOWN,” our artisans will follow the reference closely, but handcrafted resin art cannot be 100% identical—this is the beauty of custom work.
