This one-of-a-kind dining table combines richly grained Walnut with layered blue ocean wave epoxy, creating a bold river design inspired by the movement and depth of water.
The tabletop features two substantial Walnut slabs separated by a wide epoxy river. The resin follows the natural contours of the wood, creating subtle changes in width while allowing the distinctive grain, color variations, and natural character of each slab to remain prominent.
The epoxy river is created with a layered ocean-inspired design. An opaque blue resin base provides rich, consistent color, while flowing white wave details run through the river to create movement across the tabletop. A clear upper resin layer adds depth over the blue and white design, giving the river a dimensional, water-like appearance.
The warm brown tones and expressive grain of the Walnut provide a natural contrast to the vibrant blue river. One slab features particularly dramatic grain movement and natural markings, making the finished tabletop completely unique.
A clean straight edge defines the rectangular profile, while rounded corners soften the overall silhouette and provide a more refined transition around the tabletop.
The entire surface is finished in full gloss, enhancing the depth of the Walnut grain while bringing clarity, reflection, and visual dimension to the layered epoxy river.
