Zelimir reached out to us after browsing our website, inspired by the combination of natural wood and colored epoxy resin that defines SeawaveTable’s aesthetic. He had a clear vision in mind: he wanted a set of tables—a coffee table and a dining table—with a cohesive design style, tailored for outdoor living under a covered patio. While the dining table would receive morning sunlight, both tables would mostly be shaded from noon onwards, creating the perfect scenario for a warm yet protected outdoor seating area.
Choosing the Perfect Materials
Zelimir had specific preferences for both wood and resin. He favored light-colored wood with natural variation, selecting Poplar as his preferred material for its subtle hues and elegant grain. For the resin, he wanted a sapphire blue tone, semi-transparent to mimic the sparkling effect of his backyard pool. This semi-transparent look creates a dynamic sense of depth, capturing light beautifully and reflecting a tranquil, watery aesthetic that makes the tables the perfect companion to the poolside environment.
